Best. Scene. Ever.

So, I just finished watching Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle (also known as Harold & Kumar Get The Munchies in the UK, because the wonder of White Castle has not made it to these shores).

Now, I don't know if you've seen this movie, but it's a delight.

Not only is it delightful, but it has the single best scene I have ever seen in a movie ever, in all time, ever, ever, ever.

Harold and Kumar are in a car, listening to soft rock of the 80's. A classic tune, one which I currently have on my iPod, known as Hold On by the fabulous Wilson Phillips comes on the radio. And they sing along.

Now it might not seem like much. But I laughed so hard I almost cried, and then I rewound it and watched it again, and again laughed so hard I almost cried.

Best. Scene. Ever.

I listened to Wilson Phillips for hours when I lived in Saskatoon, age 11. They were so awesome. They sang my pain, my joy, my everything. By the way, where are they now?

Good question, Kobrinsky!

Well, Chynna Phillips (the blonde one) married Billy Baldwin. They have three children, Ireland, Vance and Brooke.

Carnie Wilson (the fat one) had gastric bypass surgery, and lost 150 lbs. She also hosted a short lived talk show called Carnie!. Her daughter Lola was born in April of last year.

Wendy Wilson (the red-haired one)is married with two children, Leo and Beau.

I can't find out what any of them do other than have babies, and presumably take care of them. Sometimes the internet lets you down, baby.

Haven't seen the film but there's nothing like sliders when you're really pissed and its 2am.

I'm loving that I'm posting to old entries, which I'm sure you'll never look at agin. That's right, agin.

And I beg to differ. Best. Scene. Ever:

Ruckus playing Freebird in Elizabethtown. Freebird! Freeeebird!

Joce.
ps, all things being equal, I have yet to see Harold & Kumar. I blame the fact that I live in Canada and am afraid that I will not be able to identify with a movie starring White Castle. My knowlege of the beast runs to the fact that White Castle fries only come in one size. Thank you, Beastie Boys...
